Citing the source

Not only is it good academic practice to cite your work, it is also essential for copyright compliance. The citation should note the author(s) and title of the work, and clearly identify its source. For example:

Author(s) of chapter. Year of publication, 'Chapter title', in Book Title, ed(s). Editor(s) of book, Publisher, Place of publication, chapter page range.

Please see the reference guides for more information about citing your sources.

Linking to e-books or articles from online journals or newspapers

Linking to an electronic book, an article in an online journal, or an article published in an electronic newspaper does not create a copy of the work, therefore Part VB restrictions do not apply. You may link to as many of these articles as you require, subject to the terms and conditions of its license.

Use the Request for Digital Copy form available within Course Materials Online to request the Library to create and maintain the best possible link for you.
