What is CMO?

Course Materials Online (CMO) is the UWA Library's reading list management system, which provides online access to course reading lists and comprises links to full text journal articles and book chapters, and to catalogue records of items held in the Library's collections. It is accessible from any computer in the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 

Software Requirements

Most documents linked to from CMO will be either web pages or PDF documents. PDF documents will best be viewed using Adobe Reader version 6 or higher.

To install Adobe's Acrobat Reader on your home or work computer, visit the Downloading software viewers.

 

Accessing Course Materials Online

To access CMO, click on the Course Materials Online link under Find information on the Library Web site. Then click the Login to CMO link.

On the next screen you will be asked to log in to the single sign-on network to access CMO. Enter your UWA ID number and Pheme password and click Login.

 

Locating your resource lists

The lists for the units you are enrolled in are displayed on the left side under heading "My Resource Lists".

To locate other lists, select the discipline area and then browse, or enter the unit name or code in the search box in the top right-hand corner.

To access a list, click on the Unit title.

For more details about the unit including lecturers and unit description, click the information icon Informtionnext to the Unit title. You can also link to the UWA handbook entry for the unit, by clicking on the link at the top right hand corner of the screen.
