Basic Format for Referencing Cochrane Systematic Reviews

 

Details to be recorded when you reference information on a Cochrane Systematic Review:

 

Author. Title of review. Cochrane Database Syst Rev [type of medium]. Year [date of access]. Available from: URL

Using the Vancouver style downloaded from the Library Web Site

Reference Type: Journal article

In the 'Journal Title' field enter Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews.

In the 'Type of Article' field insert the word Internet (it will appear in closed brackets).

Add date accessed to 'Access Date' field

Paste the URL address (URL) into the 'Name of Database' field.
