The Vancouver Style and EndNote

If you are using EndNote go to the Library’s EndNote page to download the Vancouver Style appropriate for use at UWA in preference to the style that comes with the EndNote software.

You will also need to download the journal abbreviation file to your EndNote library.

When using EndNote you will still need to have an understanding of the essential elements to be included in a Vancouver reference as well as its format, especially if you have to manually enter references into your EndNote library.

In the section on Reference Formats there is a column next to each reference type which explains the relevant fields and information to add for various material types.

EndNote Users Guide

For more on EndNote go to the comprehensive Guide.

This guide contains information on where to get EndNote, how to use it and much more.
