What hardware, systems do you need?

Microsoft Word and EndNote

The Cite While You Write (CWYW) function of EndNote interacts with word processing programs. Please see EndNote's Word processor compatibility chart for Windows and for Macintosh to ensure that your word processing program is compatible.

 

When you instal EndNote X1 with Word 2003 or earlier the EndNote toolbar appears in Word.

When you install EndNote X1 with Word 2007 follow the instructions on screen and accept the default options, using the EndNote configuration utility to configure EndNote components. Once finished you should see a message indicating that EndNote has been successfully installed, the EndNote tab is added in and EndNote commands are available from the ribbon.
