What is SuperSearch?

SuperSearch is a tool that allows you to search simultaneously across multiple online resources from a variety of disciplines. You can use SuperSearch to:

  • Find articles by subject, keyword, title or author
  • Locate relevant resources for your area of research

The resources selected include journal article databases, statistical sources, case law and legislation databases, text collections and recommended websites.

All the resources on SuperSearch have been hand-picked by librarians because they contain information relevant to courses offered at UWA.

SuperSearch consists of four modules which provide you with different ways to access search and arrange resources:
  • Use Quick Search to find articles in subject sets created for you
  • To search a single resource and find databases in your subject area use Find Resource
  • To search more than one resource simultaneously, use Multi Search to select your resources
  • Finally, use My SuperSearch to save articles, create and save search sets and set up alerts

How do I access SuperSearch?

SuperSearch is accessed from the UWA Library Web site.

UWA staff and students should log in using their UWA ID and campus card barcode to ensure access to all resources and full functionality in SuperSearch.

A guest login is also available for users not affiliated with UWA.
